Pros
You will never have to memorize your coworkers' names, as the weekly turnover rate takes care of that for you
Cons
Employee health and well-being is not a factor, ironic for a healthcare company
Constant turnover, multiple people are fired every week, CEO will send long-winded diatribes about why this person "was not a fit" (hint: it's because nobody is a "fit"), reinforcing cult-like ideology, pretending that the remaining workforce is somehow special and superior (spoiler alert: they're not, they're simply further along on the chopping block)
Zero work life balance, in the words of the CEO: "I don't believe in work life balance. Work is life."
CEO wants to establish, in his own words, "a cult-like environment"
Executive leadership is unhealthy, constantly circling you, breathing down your neck, asking for 40 updates daily on every task in between 4-5 meetings to also discuss those tasks leaving you no time to actually accomplish output and then demand you stay after hours or work weekends
The company's recruiting process is toxic and pretends to care about employee well-being all while actively trying to recruit high-level talent under the guise of it being a "best place to work" (spoiler alert: it is not)
Expect to work weekends and nights for arbitrary, self-imposed deadlines that mean nothing, do not accomplish anything, and only serve to exist to stress out the workforce
Heavy on the "work for the sake of work" - not necessarily to accomplish anything meaningful, but to be Doing Something
Unwilling to listen to actual advice from experts and will plow ahead with their own delusions about what works
Unhealthily obsessed with AI, every LinkedIn post is paragraphs of AI slop that mean nothing, company is embracing AI for the sake of using AI in order to appeal to investors as "cutting edge"
Executive leadership would throw questions into AI and send you copy and pasted paragraphs of "this is what AI said," expecting you to comb through them, with no shame around their own plagiarism or lack of original thinking. Anyone can also ask Claude, Chat GPT, and Gemini those questions - what is the purpose of the executive team if you simply regurgitate AI essays?
The executive team is seen as "effective" and "working hard" when their sole accomplishment is sending 30 batches of emails asking "what's the status on this?" despite being unable to accomplish any actual work or output of their own
Requests come in via text, email, verbally, on weekends, nights, what-have-you, and you are expected to respond to their 7 AM on Saturday paragraphs of text
They will pretend that they are a "certified great place to work" and deliver you LinkedIn propaganda. This is utterly false. This is the worst place I ever worked.
Expect to be hired, abused, fired, and thrown out, all while they ignore your advice and basic best practices.
