Pros

I worked at On Ideas for 4 years at a senior art director level. Having worked at a few agencies in a couple of states, I know no where is perfect. This place has their heart in the right place and does their level best to do right by their employees and clients. In the agency world, sometimes it sucks, sometimes it doesn't. No one loves working late nights when necessary etc but if you've been in this industry for more than a minute you know it comes with the territory. I feel the direction this agency is heading in is good and can only get better. The new ECD is the kind of guy you can only hope to work with, with the attitude of "Do your best work". Good people, good work, good ethics, if you're lucky enough to work here, you're lucky enough. We moved states, and I'm sorry I had to leave, if ever circumstances where such we came back to Jax I'd do my best to get in this shop again.

Cons

Don't love that it's downtown.

Pros

Many were excited to get a new face around the office which made building relationships fun and learning a new skill a great experience. The company truly cares about the happiness of its employees and shows that by catering lunches, endless supplies of snacks and drinks. The clients really love working with On Ideas and that shows through thank you letters and personalized gifts.

Cons

I feel like, as someone commented before, they are a bit stuck in the past, there are new innovative technologies that could be used here and they aren't taking full advantage of. There was also an employee who was a bit more difficult to work with and not understanding of what a real intern is (someone with very little knowledge of the field, but willing to learn). Needless to say they were not excited to teach or assist an intern in doing much at all.
