Pros

City location? No pros i can think of, just trying to make the word limit

Cons

Too many cons to list. No flexible working options... 5 days a week in the office 8.30-5.30, not even an early finish on Friday evenings so you'll literally be working until 5.30pm on a Friday when there's nothing to do. Expect to be treated like a child, your work is micromanaged, they will go through your email and listen to your calls for no reason. one team leader even had his team write him an hourly log of what they were doing. unrealistic expectations for performance and very little money to be made if you haven't been there for years. they will lie to you in the interview about how much money you will make, they will tell you your desk is profitable when no one has made commission on it for years. they will also lie to you about having a desk to yourself, when the reality is you will start and have to share the desk with a very established consultant who works with all the existing clients in that specialty already. I witnessed both of those things happen to colleagues. New starters were not making any money, with a ridiculous bonus scheme and unfair rules about splitting the desk with the consultants who had been there for years. no way to make money with the rules they've decided on, if a consultant has even spoken to a candidate in the last couple months you cannot work with them and the consultants get a grace period to touch base with them even after you've become a consultant and may have already worked with/sourced the candidate yourself. so you'll literally start at 0. None of the people who started working there this year has made ANY commission. terrible work culture as well, one of the team leaders was a literal bully who forced 2 people (his entire team) to quit. I saw people quit on their 1st day more than once. One guy disappeared at lunch time on his first day and another arrived and realised they lied to him in the interview, he ended up yelling at the director and leaving on the spot. almost every week someone resigns, Company is running itself into the ground and I cant wait to see it crash and burn :) also, consultants are quite unethical, i saw one woman take a 40%cut of a drs fee by lying to them about how much the hospital was willing to pay them. stay away and beware both consultants and locum doctors!!!

Pros

I would say there are maybe 2 or 3 remaining employees there with the awareness of how fkin stupid this company is, and they were nice to talk to.

Cons

Someone needs to say it. Omega is an absolute dogshit of a company. They don’t know how to run a business. Period. They straight up lie to cover up their mess. You can tell this company was likely successful when it was first founded by capable leaders. It’s now run by a dude who is genuinely one of the most coward leaders I’ve ever come across, accompanied by some weird operations guy who keeps DMing female recruiters to join this business, and some minions who don’t understand what a normal company looks like. If you start working here you will feel imprisoned. It’s so strange to me how the other minions have stayed there for this long. Do you not understand that you have free-will in life? Btw this company has industry-lagging business strategy. They are stuck in their stupid old school ways. Wake up we’re in 2026 not 1926 …. I’d be surprised if this company is still profitable in 5 years time. It’s likely going to be sustained by the few high performers and sad workers who are happy to be imprisoned like this.

Pros

Wonderful agency, very fair and highly supportive. They really set you up for success with strong processes and trainings in place. They also tailor their trainings for each individual to ensure they are getting the appropriate support. The office is great, good banter and people - always up for a laugh. Hard work is also rewarded with great incentives and WFH once KPIs are met. They will celebrate the small wins with you and also encourage you to be better. Definitely a doors open policy with the manager and director all sitting in the same, open floor. Always open to feedback and making changes where needed. Also have an earlier finish on Fridays (15h30) which helps!

Cons

None! They are incredibly fair in their approach and how they work with their staff.
