Pros
Working at Omaze has been a really great experience for me so far. The culture here is super positive, and the people are some of the best I've worked with - smart, supportive, and genuinely fun to be around. The office environment is great, making it an enjoyable place to work. There are real opportunities to grow, develop and try new things, and the company invests in its employees. The leadership team are approachable, listen to feedback from the team and genuinely care about what we're doing - at a business and an individual level. Amazing company perks - good pay, stock options, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, extra time off between Christmas and new year, private health insurance, 9% pension contribution, training budgets, life insurance and loads more.
Cons
Working at a scale-up isn't for everyone - you have to be driven, committed and willing to go above and beyond to help the company achieve its goals. This means sometimes stepping outside of your usual responsibilities, stepping up to try something new or working longer hours to meet project deadlines. I personally love this, so it's not really a con, but that doesn't suit everyone & that's ok!
