Pros

The only pro I can think of is that the people that are doing the same job as you understand how awful the company is too so you bond over that.

Cons

Don’t work here. Once you settle in here, everything will change. -There is no work/life balance. You are required to bring your laptop home with you and answer your phone at all hours, all the time. -You’re hired for one position but I promise you will be doing everyone else’s job in addition to yours and that’s what’s expected of you. If you don’t do anything and everything outside of your title then you aren’t doing your job and management will make it known you’re not holding up your end in a passive aggressive way. -There are no stable processes or structure. They will tell you what the process is and expect you to follow it even though they know all of the moving parts, including other people doing their own jobs, does not happen but it’s your fault and you still have to make it happen somehow. Reference zero work/life balance because you’re so busy doing everyone else’s job. -Management 100% has favorites and it’s no secret. If you aren’t a favorite then they won’t even speak to you with respect and they’ll constantly pick at you even though you’re busting your butt and the “favorites” are doing the same thing. It’s okay though because they’re the favorites and you’re not. -You can’t trust your coworkers, especially the favorites, because anything you talk to them about will be passed on to management and twisted and turned to raise them up and put you down. Keep your mouth shut and trust no one. Everyone talks crap about everyone and no one will address an issue with you directly. -If there’s an issue with your performance, upper management, HR, and whoever happens to be your boss at the time, will discuss it among themselves and never actually talk to you about what you need to change. So then you’ll be completely blindsided by HR because no one ever actually tried to help you improve by COMMUNICATING with YOU. -Passive aggressive management. Zero straight answers on anything. -The only thing that matters are the excel spreadsheets with numbers. Management doesn’t care what’s happening or how those numbers got there or what roadblocks are in your way to meet your numbers. They don’t care. If your number isn’t right then just do better except they won’t give you what you need to do better. -You’ll have so many meetings asking you about your numbers that you won’t have time during the regular work day to actually get your work done to fix your numbers. Reference work/life balance. -You’ll have 8 different bosses in 5 months because they keep firing everyone and changing the process and what they want to happen. -In a nutshell, go somewhere else. You will be happier. Your life will be better. You should never work for a company that makes your life miserable in and out of work. Life is too short for that. Have enough respect for your life and your family to not work here and do better for yourself. -Also, your Christmas bonus is an insulting $50. Your “yearly bonus” will always be the minimum percentage. Don’t get excited.
