Pros
I felt very lucky to work with some excellent people at Olapic. The culture there is young but feels like a family, and it really does feel nice to come in when you like so many people you work with.
Cons
Leadership is *extremely* poor. The cofounders have a very unfortunate track record when it comes to hiring senior managers, and especially on the sales and product development teams this has led to either high turnover or utter stagnation. Fractured communication is the other challenge of Olapic. All of product development is based remotely, in Argentina, but all client facing teams are in New York (or remotely in London). Even within the New York office the structures required for teams to communicate with one another have not been established, which leads to teams working on the same projects unknowingly, and lost knowledge.
