Pros

Fast Space, makes your day go by super fast. Good training, you get the basic training to get you started quickly, if this is new to you. As any other job, more skills and experience comes with learning as you go. Friend Supervisors, always there if you have a question. They dont disregard your questions, infact will explain and teach you how to handle situation on spot. Good work and personal life balance, you work from 8.45am -5.15pm. With 30 min lunch and two 10 min paid break. Monthly staff meetings. Also you get to have one on one with the Managers atleast once or even twice a month. They always give you feedbacks about what you need to improve on. You are given ample opportunity to correct and improve and show that you can excel. Very Friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the office .

Cons

So far , I had positive experience.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is that I enjoy doing this job, but none that apply to the company itself.

Cons

Official is sleazy, and it's embarrassing to be sent out in the field and try to explain the vast shortcomings of the company to customers. Communication between customers, the office staff, and technicians is absolutely dismal. Technicians are forced to deal with customers who are unhappy on a regular basis, mostly due to this lack of communication. I have lost multiple beloved regular customers who were just fed up with how the office staff treat them, ignore them, swindle them. I lost one of my favorite clients today because one of our "inspectors" casually waltzed around their home from the ground, pointing out multiple openings in the roof vents where rodents are entering, then quoted a cost of almost $2'000 to seal the attic. My client called out Explorer Pest Control for a second opinion. Their inspector actually got up close to the "entry points" with a flashlight and proved the Official inspector was making up sruff to drive up the price. My client was so put off she's changing companies, but wanted me to know how much they loved the service I myself provided. Official has also been consumed by a money hungry conglomerate from Sweden who lures in independent companies with nonsense technology, like passive infrared sensors that are hardly monitored by staff. Since this company takeover, the work load has increased to levels that are draining my life force. I can't remember the last time my route didn't run over 9 hours, with an average closer to ten. Every day. You learn you have ZERO confidence informing your supervisor of something actually important will resonate with them and be resolved. This company is a joke. No morals. No care for technician well-being.
