Pros

Salary, and that is it.

Cons

I was hired and moved across the country for this position in 2022. I was put into a situation where an employee was moved into a lead position to manage 3 other new hires (1 was me). After a month or so into the job I realized the lead had terrible interpersonal skills and his communication was both lacking and often unprofessional to me. I was accused of not signing onto my computer at one point, which was false and I proved them wrong, and I would continue to get accusations that my performance was lacking over approximately a 3-month period . In addition, I would get told that my emails were unprofessional and combative. When I asked the lead to clarify these claims, he would talk around my question and never give me an answer on how my performance was lacking or how to improve. Further, he would put me on projects with incompetent employees that would never show up to meetings or answer my emails, to probably use that as fuel for the lack of productivity claim. When I first spoke with my actual manager and HR regarding my concerns, they ignored my concern and only focused on our communication needing to improve. The lead's behavior drastically changed after this meeting we all had, and he completely distanced himself from me and put no effort into tasking me appropriately. When this issue started to escalate again a month or so after our first meeting, I again brought it to my manager and HR. This time only HR spoke with me though. The HR lady I spoke with was not apologetic or sincere when talking to me either, which one would hope for given the nature of the situation. In fact, it felt like she was actually in support of the behavior of this lead with how she responded to stuff I said. My manager never decided to speak to me again about the topic, and he clearly never spoke with the lead regarding his behavior needing to improve. One day I get a call early in the morning with no heads up and my manager was requesting me to come into the office with my equipment. I was terminated with the reason being performance related, yet I was clearly doing as much as I could with the limited communication I received. The worst point in all of this is that my manager allowed this lead's performance to continue and HR did absolutely nothing to assist me.

Pros

Very military friendly! I am able to fulfill my military duties (Reserve) without any problem. The company communicates very well to their employees. Outside of bonuses, the company does well in recognizing their employees for their hard work.

Cons

In my position, I was put in charge of an action group that has 5 other employees. I was not offered any pay bump, even though I communicated very clearly that in a new leadership position, I should be paid accordingly. I received a solid though average annual raise, but not even close to the amount that should be paid in my position.
