Pros

Most people in the Administrative Practice department (Jacksonville) are decent hard-working people, great to work with, and gets the job done through mostly busy times of the year.

Cons

OG group mentality seem to take precedence, leaving new employees (<3 yrs in) feeling like outsiders looking in. Favoritism for a few OG personnel is obvious, which fosters resentment from others and results in high turnover rate. Invested $$$ in a bigger office space that is half -full. Only allows one (1) day per week WFH. Minimal paid holidays (8) and PTO (15) compared to other companies and industry standards. For a pension and financial services company there is no pension plan for employees and no 401K match to speak of.

Pros

Individual managers and leaders are empathetic and understanding

Cons

Unfortunately, this firm has always been about profitability and market relevance first, while employee satisfaction and benefits fall to the wayside. Company decisions are made with the bottom line in mind - getting a bigger market share or wider recognition at the cost of employees’ comfort is all too common.
