Pros

Best job I have ever had! My leaders and management team are incredibly supportive, they make sure we have all of the resources we need to do our jobs successfully. I also know that when I give feedback, it is listened to, I am not afraid to have discussions with my supervisors. I really do feel like my work here is valued and appreciated. There are tons of opportunities to learn and grown within the company! Especially because the company itself is expanding and there's always new opportunities popping up! The benefits are great. We get PTO and sick time, as well as paid holidays. I have never had issues with scheduling or flexibility for time off. They have even been incredibly accommodating when it came to a couple of family emergencies. At the Toms River headquarters, they have a free gym for employees, and free snacks in the cafeteria. There's even an outdoor seating area for us too in the nice weather. Co-workers both in my department and across the company are always so friendly and helpful, it makes the office days so much more enjoyable!

Cons

The yearly online training courses can be a bit repetitive. The temperature in the office can get chilly.

Pros

The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.

Cons

There were no cons in this experience.
