Cons

This is the worst job I have ever had. I have worked for other banks before and it is shocking that they haven’t been shut down yet. No one is willing to help, there is absolutely no communication and the “supervisors” will get annoyed if you ask any questions and tell you to figure it out on your own. 10 people have quit this department in the last month.

Oceanfirst Bank provides a great orientation and welcome to new hires. They have a friendly and warm environment for new hires to become accustomed to the workplace and give ample guidance and resources in order to learn and apply new and relevant skills.

Pros

The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.
