I was super excited to start this new job, however after day 1 of oreintation i decided not to stay with the company. I based my decision on the feeling that i got. I felt osjl hires people they put no trust in. A ten min break. You have to have you sign out and back in. One min leeway. Happens more than a few times. Disciplinary action up to termination. Punching in 5 mins late disciplinary action up to termination. Drawer variances. Discipline. Emphasized to put a receipt on anything you buy like a water. If you dont, disciplined. They can search your locker at any time and your contents. Any bags have to be checked daily. I have nothing to hide, and i enjoy a structured work place. However, osjl gave me the impression they don't really trust their employees. Is that someone i want to work for? If mgt doesnt trust the employees, should i? I really liked the idea of working here, but orientation was so, negative. Write up for this fired for that, and no positives. Hey we do this we do that, other than employee discount.
