Pros

Having recently worked in a toxic environment, coming over to Obu was very refreshing. There is a passion among team members to accomplish both day-to-day, customer-related tasks and company mission, with a clear understanding that without work-life balance neither is possible. Even before the coronavirus pandemic, Obu embraced the flexibility that comes with working from home. This can, however, create a social and/or cultural void. But Obu does a good job at finding ways to inject team culture, togetherness, and social communication opportunities into the day-to-day. Company leaders also understand that life happens and if something comes up it will be figured out ... together. Lastly, there is a true commitment to keep the customer's best interest in mind ... not something you find at every company.

Cons

The team is "lean and mean" so to speak. So there are times when project quantity overwhelms the amount of resource bandwidth. As company is able to bring on more talent, process efficiency and pipeline management will need to be addressed to avoid stunting company growth.

Pros

Over the past few years, I've seen Obu improve the company culture, processes, and teamwork; things always get better and better. Everyone is so easy to work with, always there when you need them, and open to feedback. I enjoyed every time I had to collaborate with multiple departments because I always learned a new thing from them.

Cons

It's a fast-paced environment where you have to wear multiple hats, but at the same time, you learn faster.

Pros

It was fun working with the team. A lot of work to be done.

Cons

Figuring out work for departments who didn't know how to do their job.
