Pros

Decent Benefits, cool and skilled coworkers

Cons

Morale is overall poor due to recent decisions from leadership. Long-term employees are leaving due to the direction leadership is choosing to take the product. Middle management is not very good, employees do not feel listened to or valued in some departments. The company is chewing off one of it's legs as it doesnt think it can be competitive in certain areas, while still selling those areas. It's a joke.

Pros

The total addressable market for Obsidian is exceptional. The organization's focus on third-party security, combined with its Agentic AI Security solution, presents a compelling opportunity to sell a differentiated offering that every Fortune 2000 company needs. For individual contributors seeking meaningful impact and a hands-on role, this is an outstanding place to work — with strong earning potential to match.

Cons

Leadership's deep passion for the mission can occasionally come across as intense, but that drive is a feature, not a flaw. A committed executive team focused on building something meaningful is far preferable to one simply coasting toward an exit.

Pros

I've carried a bag at a lot of companies. Nothing comes close to what's been built here — and it starts with leadership that actually gets it. Our CRO, Brian Murphy, is the real deal. He leads with clarity, conviction, and a genuine respect for the people on the front lines. Brian doesn't just set targets and disappear — he's in the trenches with you, removing blockers, elevating the team, and making sure every rep has what they need to win. You feel supported from the top down in a way that's incredibly rare in sales organizations. The culture he's built is one where accountability and trust go hand in hand. On the go-to-market side, Alison Tierney's Global GTM Strategy is truly best-in-class. The alignment between sales, marketing, and the broader business is something I've never experienced anywhere else. Alison brings a level of strategic rigor and cross-functional coordination that means we're not just selling — we're winning the right deals, in the right markets, with the right message. It makes a massive difference when you're out there talking to customers. The impact you can make here as a sales professional is unmatched. Real deals, real revenue, and work that visibly moves the company forward. If you're serious about your sales career and want to be part of something special, this is the place.

Cons

None that I can think of
