I worked at Obsidian in a senior role. My main frustration was that the team was heavily weighted toward junior staff with very little senior technical oversight. In my experience this directly affected work quality. Seniors spent much of their time catching and correcting basic errors rather than doing senior level work. There was little structured mentorship or training to close the gap. Quality control depends on a few overstretched senior people, and there is limited career development structure. If you are experienced, expect to carry more than your share. If you are junior, you may struggle without guidance.
