Pros

Casual environment - Jeans and polo everyday were a huge plus! Full transparency to customers was great, the truest market based pricing in the auto industry. 100% free health insurance, and great health insurance - at least back then! The owner himself (Dan Oakes) would walk through the dealership and stop to help salespeople close deals, and was very sincere with customers.

Cons

Touted by management to be following new sales styles, but expected salespeople to say the "old car guy" stuff that doesn't work anymore in general. Refuses to do anything to protect their employees properly with the resources they have available that many employees do not have, and takes negative action over circumstances that employees clearly have absolutely no control over.

Pros

If you were willing to put in the effort and work hard, you will get paid nicely at this place, although they are not commissioned based, which is nice for the customer. They do have very lucrative bonus levels that are not that difficult to hit if you are willing to work hard on a daily basis.

Cons

Will only be a con if you are a lazy person and don’t like to work
