Pros

Connections you make yourself with school, families and children.

Cons

If you want to work somewhere and feel totally under valued, OSHClub is the place to go. Your bosses will only contact you if something is wrong, being praised is not something they are known for. Being with OSHClub I learnt you can only rely on yourself as most workers are to scared to express how they are feeling or be themselves. Over the last year the company has merged and has lost their way with their workers. It is sad to see what was once a great company slip into the routine of forgetting the little people. This is not a workplace where you go to get support or help. All they care about now is earning money and forgetting the value that should come with it. OSHClub is great at keeping secret and making you feel so little to the point that they wouldn't care if you left. Regardless if you put your heart and soul into something.

Pros

No pros about this place.

Cons

If I could give the company 0 stars I would. Terrible management, zero support and they do nothing about taking action on problems. Nothing ever changes there, no matter what complaints you put in. If I had children I would never send them there. The well behaved kids get no attention because the staff are too busy dealing with extremely high need behaviours that we get no support dealing with. Staff consistently get physically and verbally abused by children and parents on a daily basis and higher up management will do nothing about it. On top of that, if you have a coordinator that does nothing to support your team or will handoff all the paper work to educators, and is quick to throw us under the bus when issues occur, your stress levels will drastically rise.

Pros

Happy and relaxing environment at Carey Kew with cheerful kids. Improving site.

Cons

Lack of management schemes, unreliable contract about flexible leaves, infested site, unable to approve leaves despite student exams, messy system to work with, a lot of unknown names sending email regarding work every 2 days, new regional manager does not check leave requests to either decline or approve despite input 2 weeks in advance, leave requests must be put in 4 weeks in advance while resignation can be done immediately, multiple managers and educators resigned in a span of a few months, always understaffed (3 staffs for 10 children and 3 staffs also for 35 children), minimum wage paid job but maximum management expectations, slow to fix infestation and broken kitchen tools (been 6 months still unfixed), shared rooms with school.
