Pros

I joined the company driven by my love for the product and since joining it's evolved to the people and the product! The Founders and MD are passionate, knowledgeable and above all else, honest and transparent- ensuring every employee is kept up to date and supported along every aspect. The people at ORCHA are bright, supportive and constantly pushing and challenging the sector. Whenever there are bumps in the road (as is normal in every company)- things are spoken about honestly and openly which is a wonderful culture to create. It's a work hard, play hard environment- no 2 days are the same and there is always time for a laugh to get us through the day. A great place to work!

Cons

Not a con per-say but the pace is fast and requires agility and tenacity. This is true of most startups/ scale ups. As an organisation though, ORCHA adapts well to change and bumps and is innovative and agile in its approach making it a fab place to work

Pros

The best part about working at ORCHA was the lovely people I got to work alongside. Incredibly talented in their respective areas. Flexible, hybrid working and a lovely modern office. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Lack of direction and poor strategic leadership, employees are constantly undermined and the founders always “know best” instead of asking for guidance and advice from their employees who are experts in their areas and actually do know best. The reviews on Glassdoor, give a true reflection of working at ORCHA and are not just disgruntled employees - a quick look on LinkedIn will show every employee that has left has moved onto better things, and proves their professional competence (standard narrative when people leave is well they weren’t very good anyway) Long hours are expected and comments are made by SLT about team members lack of commitment when they log off at 5 instead of working late. Seeing people cry in the office is not something I’ve ever experienced before. People are given new job titles with no clear outline of deliverables or training then reduced to tears when they are told their performance is not up to standard.
