Pros
- Excellent travel opportunities (pre-covid) - good global exposure with many international employees and branches - difficult to actually get fired
Cons
- international employees often carry on conversations right in front of you in another language... All fine and good until you start clearly hearing your name... -post-covis regulations applied seemingly randomly to all employees at the will of the manager. (No standards applied to everyone) - many managers seemingly impossible to locate, communicate with, get into a meeting, get an answer from, get approval or support from, etc. - major recent restructuring has resulted in many poorly placed managers (think: good engineer, but bad manager) -zero opportunity for raise or promotion
