Pros

Compensation is good, health insurance is stellar. Mission of the organization is fulfilling.

Cons

Every single negative thing about this organization, of which there are many, can be laid at the feet of one person: the CEO. The CEO is a controlling micromanager and involves himself even with dictating daily activity of even entry-level employees. He has unreasonable demands and is oblivious to resource limitations. I have known more than 10 VPs and Senior Managers that were super talented that left due to the CEO's constant interference and lack of consistency.

Pros

In my 8 months of interning at OPSWAT, the work culture stood out like no other. From the first day I was greeted and welcomed by several people around the office. I always looked forward to team/office lunches and playing ping pong with my peers. I was also able to take on important projects and regularly meet with customers and prospects. Lastly, everyone wants you to succeed, and as an intern everyone is willing to help you grow. I have learned so much throughout my two sessions as a Product Manager Intern. I would recommend this position and OPSWAT to anyone as it is a great place to work.

Cons

I have no cons at all.

Pros

• Dedicated employees who are committed to the company’s success. • Opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work and make a visible impact. • Exposure to a growing cybersecurity company with a global presence. • Employees are trusted with significant responsibility and autonomy.

Cons

• Environment is heavily influenced by the CEO’s leadership style, which may not be a fit for everyone. It can be really intense. • Employees may be reluctant to raise concerns or challenge leaders out of fear. • PTO and holiday benefits are less competitive than those offered by many similarly sized companies. The limited amount of time off can make it challenging for employees to recharge and maintain long-term work-life balance.
