Pros
I think there were some quality issues in the past that prompted a lot of the negative comments. Those have largely been resolved. There's a clear product roadmap and lots of cool, exciting things to work on. As for the CEO, the rumors had abounded in the industry (as they do here), but I have found him a pleasure to work with. Yes, he can be forceful with his ideas. But he always listens to feedback and input from others. If you're competent, he's a great partner for building a strategy. If you're incompetent, it's clear he doesn't have time or patience. He needs A players. Frankly, that's no different from any other startup environment I've worked in. OPI Offers: - Competitive salary - Great benefits - Very cool technology to work on - Significant problems to solve that have a global social impact.
Cons
There is a culture shift happening at OPI right now. The old guard is dying away, and a new culture is replacing it. The people here are excited, fun to work with, and confident about the impact they're making both for OPI and the world. I'm really excited to see this transformation and how this company fares in 3-5 years.
