Cons
Unfortunately this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Never work for Italian companies, their style of management is the worst. You can only succeed if you are daughter, sibling or friend of someone in the company and you will only grow within the company if you are “well seen” and you basically need to say yes to everything no matter what. At the first thing you say no they will decide you’re not good enough. No meritocracy just recommendation through people. Salary is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of things they expect us to do. Perform very heavy customer service to the point customers leave annoyed, no commissions of course, however if we don’t sell enough, management will say we are not doing our job and mess around. Everyone is anxious to send reports and how much we made during the day because the feedback is always negative. There’s no incentive, no encouragement just point fingers and blame each other. Probably that’s why this company is so understaffed and you need to go around London to every single store to cover shifts. They perform psychological abuse, putting all this pressure on you while half of the people working there is just studying for another job. No one really care about this job but they stress you to the point you need to quit. So many notice, so many people and yet the company refuse to admit there’s something wrong. In all the stores I’ve been people always talked badly about the company and their management. A company that fails to protect mental health of people is no company at all. That’s why everyone has the same bad experience and that’s why so many bad reviews. That place is rotten and will keep being so.
