Pros

Some genuinely talented, hardworking and nice employees. For the most part management select good people. In 2022 OKMG had around 30 employees, I believe in 2023 they have under 15. It was also conveniently located right opposite the Mosman Park train station, making commuting from the city very convenient. It is a place where people starting their career can get a job as staff turnover is a regular occurrence. They are a diverse employer.

Cons

A noted shift in culture and business ethics left many of the team feeling 'unvalued, not listened to, overworked, stressed'. While most staff-hires were positive, I believe one hire of a very senior person to sit under MD contributed greatly to the toxic environment. This person had favourites and those not in the inner-circle were not able to contribute in a positive way to the company. They were also talked about negatively behind their backs. Directors have not had much experience working outside of this agency. To their credit that had built a successful agency, but severely dropped the ball and lost the faith of a lot of their original staff who were loyal and hardworking. 2022 saw many staff leave. As another reviewer mentioned, they offered to pay staff to provide 5 star google reviews. This is unfortunately true.

Pros

Clients are treated well and nobody sells work that isn't needed, so that helps. Things get done without a lot of fuss and we get flexibility because of it.

Cons

Revisions are always a grind but I guess that's more a client thing. Perth clients seem to be a bit behind the curve which means extra hand-holding so that's draining.

Pros

Great place to grow as a developer. The work is varied across web development technologies, which keeps things interesting. Good team culture in a boutique agency setting. Management is approachable, and there's a genuine opportunity to take ownership of your work.

Cons

Fast-paced environment means you need to manage multiple projects simultaneously, which can be challenging at times.
