Pros

Foodpanda credits free lunch and dinner

Cons

This is by far one of the most disappointing workplaces I've experienced. The culture is extremely poor, with frequent layoffs and a constant sense of uncertainty. Employees are expected to stay motivated while watching colleagues being let go on a regular basis. Morale is low, and trust in leadership is virtually nonexistent. What surprised me most was how centralized decision-making is. Despite having multiple layers of leadership, it appears that nearly every significant decision ultimately rests with the CEO. This leaves many leaders with little real authority or ability to influence outcomes, making collaboration and empowerment feel more like an illusion than reality. There is also a strong top-down culture where questioning decisions is discouraged, and many leaders seem more focused on pleasing those above them than advocating for their teams. As a result, employees often feel unheard and unsupported. Even if the compensation is attractive, I would not recommend this company from the bottom of my heart. A higher salary is not worth the stress, instability, and lack of genuine leadership. There are far better organizations where employees are treated with respect and where leaders are empowered to lead.

Pros

- Complimentary food and drinks in the office - Some co-workers are working hard and friendly - Hybrid work that can work 2 days from home

Cons

- The company experienced hiring followed by layoffs, which raised concerns about workforce planning. - No severance package, career transition assistance, or visa support was provided following the layoff, which negatively impacted the perception of the company's employee culture. - There was a tendency to assign blame rather than focus on collaborative problem-solving.
