Pros

It's an introduction for those who'd like to explore the gaming industry. That's about it. I was only there for literally a month (more on that in the cons section below) but the colleagues there seemed alright.

Cons

I used to live in another province and was hired to come to Vancouver to work for them. So I left my family and friends behind thinking this could be a great opportunity. Despite the lack of relocation package, I still thought this would be a worthwhile experience. Yes every aspect of the moving was paid out of my own pocket. Literally a month after I started working there, they lost the licensing rights to their most successful games and begin laying people off. I was among the many that got shafted... Really? You hired me to come work... from another province... with no relocation package...and then I get laid off after 1 month?

Pros

We were a tightly-knit small group of passionate and highly motivated people that worked hard to make every project succeed. While it was difficult at times, I don't regret much while working here.

Cons

The company resources were split between the los angeles offices and our main location headquartered in vancouver. Sometimes it was difficult to coordinate between the two when time was of the essence.
