Pros

Great co-workers. Nice office building. Paperless shipment processing

Cons

The supervisors make it a point to rub their title in operations face. They would rather call you out in front of every Department, than settle things in private or in the email chain in which they are referring to. Most of the supervisors lack a broad vision of the supply chain. My supervisor only had one scope of the industry from a freight forwarder perspective and it was with oec. So I couldn't really look to this person for guidance as my training and work experience far exceeded any degree they may have had. Initially I had a great supervisor and director. However during my interview process I was not told these people had given their notice so I based my decision on accepting employment with the knowledge that these people would be my superiors. One week later I found out I was getting a new manager. Had I interviewed with this person I would have never taken the job. I missed out on another opportunity taking this position. The main thing that's wrong with this company is the structure of the department. It does not make sense for streamline Freight forwarding. There's a lot of double work being done by 3 people at least. It is definitely the third-worst freight forwarder I worked at. If they would change the structure of the Department's it would make more sense. And they could use a third of the people that they have currently employed.

Pros

Flexibility when it comes to having to WFH more than the allowed one day in office. Teamwork among the department to help everyone get work done. Plenty of resources cross departmentally to help you navigate/troubleshoot operational obstacles and issues with agents/clients/vendors. Also a clearly driven model to avoid reactionary responses to problems/issues and come up with a proactive long term solutions after situation arise.

Cons

Some more engagement and career coaching from middle management would be an area of recommendation to focus on in future. Also, messaging from senior to upper management after company layoffs was non-existent earlier this year. When I joined, there were regular town halls to allow employees a platform to voice concerns and ask questions but this was done away with in 2026 (not sure why, again no clear messaging/guidance from upper management). This left me (and others) with a sense of unease/instability within the organization that had me doubt my future with the company. More accountability and expectations need to be defined for middle management as some seem to not have adequate knowledge of day to day / system operations of desk workers and push reports, instead of digging in to more day to day struggles to help desk level workers.
