      Pros

      You get to work with all the wonderful animals on a daily basis. It is a very rewarding job perfect for an animal lover.

      Cons

      The pay isn't very good. You are unlikely to get a raise. It is all to often that you are shorthanded. There is a very high turnover rate.

      Seeing some of the horrible things that happen to animals before they come here.
