Pros

-Focused, independent workplace (very quite) -Co workers are mostly pleasant and helpful. -Freebies like soft and high caffeine drinks

Cons

- Pushy PM (Prj Mgr) can make your life miserable with nasty comments. - During my time there, there was not a single feedback/appraisal meeting. - Quantity wins any-day over Quality. - Chargeable hours are king. To make the quarterly 'honor list' expect to do around 150%. One person even did close to 200% for the entire 3 month period. Few family obligations and living close to office (even in the office) shall help. 0.5 Hr/week on research, email, internal work will be frowned upon. - You can expect to be taught English, if required, but not Software. That you are expected to know, even if it was not mentioned in your resume.

Pros

You get to work on cutting edge technology. You learn more in 1 year than you do in 10 years at most companies. Lots of feedback and engineering support. Very little to no office politics

Cons

Expected to ramp quickly on new technologies. Short time frame projects mean you are always under pressure to get stuff done.

Pros

You get to work on many different projects. Pay is average. Time-off is readily available especially during slow times.

Cons

All they care about is billable hours. They tell customers what senior level & experienced people they have so they can get the contract. Then they assign whoever is free to do the work whether they have any prior experience at it or not. Then they go back to the customer & tell them they need to come up with more money because their job is taking longer than expected, which is really due to the lack of experience of the engineer assigned to it. The customer ends up paying three times the quoted amount or more. I feel sorry for customers because they get milked for whatever management can get away with. Most customers are not happy with the outcome. I never worked at a place where dishonesty is a normal part of the business and starts with the CEO who only cares about money. They can care less about delivering quality work to the customer on time & at the price they quoted.
