Pros

The colleagues that I once worked with before senior management came in 2013. The area

Cons

Terrible place to work so I left. Before Autumn 2013 the place was fine, morale was high and I enjoyed coming into work on a daily basis. After the new management came in all that changed, they began to target people who had been there for up to twenty years and these people were being accused of anything that the management team could find in order for them to be dismissed. Also I am sure that it is illegal to employ senior managers without interviewing fairly? All of them were former colleagues of the CEO. The Warehouse staff are paid minimum wage, the E-Commerce website is run by a non technical team and that is why I found most of the IT staff left. The Finance team are all paid more than average whilst the rest of the company suffer. The amount of customer complaints we had to deal with was amazing. So many customers complained about the products never being delivered on time and you would find that senior managers would blame anyone but themselves. Too many managers and not enough skilled staff. In the time I was there I found that around 80% of staff left within four months of the new management team taking over. Also they never paid overtime for us who were told we had to work extra.

Pros

There is generally a more relaxed atmosphere than other companies and you don't often have to work past office hours, a nice mix of people work there.

Cons

Generally speaking everyone in the company is paid below industry standard (with the exception of the finance team). The company is currently led by someone with a Finance background rather than that of Natural Health, so everything is about numbers and there seem to be no plans for growth or the future other than "get more money or be shouted at" - when things are good you are left alone, when things are bad you are barked at. The company is owned by Tesco which you think would be a good thing, but unfortunately they just absorb any profits made by The Nutri Centre at the end of every financial year and don't re-invest anything back.
