      Pros

      - Relaxed work environment - Great work life balance - Nice office space - Beltline location - Generous time off policy - Not too big, not too small - Friendly work environment

      Cons

      - More like a hobby project for rich owners than an actual company. - Calls itself a startup while stuck in the old era. - Old business model and technology. Refusing to upgrade - Not at all developer friendly. - Heavy involvement from owners at all levels - Trying to do too much with too little resources - Obsolete technology - Inbred management team - Small revenue - Below Average compensation - Very bureaucratic for its size - Ideas are not appreciated - Trying to solve real-world problems with old school technology - Most of the team is made up of coop interns, so the codebase is touched by a lot of people without focusing on the right way.

      Pros

      - Great company culture. Everyone is respectful and helpful to one another. - Very flexible remote work policies - Very good vacation policy and work-life balance - Plenty of opportunities to work on interesting projects and learn new things - Management listens to employee feedback and requests

      Cons

      - Not a lot of room for career development - Management/senior positions are more often filled by hiring externally rather than by promoting internally but this has been slowly improving recently

We do really value promoting internally as you can see from interns, who have returned as new grads and have grown into senior roles. As we are still a growing organization we recognize and acknowledge that we are more flat than larger organizations - this does allow for work on those interesting projects and to not limit our staff to their specific tasks/roles. Promotions may take a little longer, especially because recently we have had an opportunity to hire very senior firmware talent that are not normally on the job market. I'm sorry we did not get a chance to see you continue to grow with our company, but we do take your feedback very seriously and intend to work on this area.

      Pros

      Flexible work environment, with pretty decent pay. A well established leader who is certainly a thought leader in the industry.

      Cons

      Built out a network of regional employees before they were equipped to manage and lead them. There was a lack of vision at the time of my employment, which lead to confusion and stagnation in my professional development.
