1. Too low salaries. 3-4 times lower than that of Cadence employees in the USA. No pay raise in the last two years since Cadence acquired Numeca. The salary level is equivalent to 60% of the Belgian average for eligible positions in IT. Despite inflation of about 15%, no salary increase is foreseen. If the company remained Belgian, salaries would have to be indexed to inflation. But since the company was bought by Cadence, but the salary is not indexed. 2. Lack of career growth.
