Pros

There are none. See below.

Cons

Ego is stronger than fear of business failure. I escaped from a full-time job at NucleusHealth in a toxic work environment. I was naïve. I tried to stick it out and help the company succeed. The harder I worked, the worse I was treated. It was hard to leave the company I had worked so hard for but the minute I was out of there, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders. Lousy employees get promoted/hired to lofty positions in this organization because they are non-threatening to the COO and he thinks they make him look good. Non-threatening is the best thing you can be in a toxic environment. It's the principal job requirement. If you work there, you should pay attention to the work environment and you'll see that the people at the top talk a good game when it comes to business results but what they really care about is protecting their own turf and their own power base. They would much rather see the company collapse around them than to admit they were wrong, or (God forbid) admit they have no clue what they're doing. I quickly learned that loyalists & brownnosers are appreciated while realists are punished & ignored. Good employees are the heartbeat of the company. And if the heart stops beating…what will happen? Hope to give any future NucleusHealth hopefuls a clear picture. Run, run as fast as you can.

Pros

They are well stocked with snacks and beverages in their kitchen and the Thursday lunch's are great. Management is good and the CEO, Claude Hooton, is a great leader and very personable.

Cons

Mobility is not the best.

Pros

Co-Workers are good (mostly). If you like working overnight/graveyard this is perfect. Thrive in a call center environment? This is for you. If you like learning, this is the place for you as there is a lot to learn if you haven't spent time in a healthcare environment.

Cons

Training is not good and you rely on busy co-workers to be available to answer questions, mostly through Microsoft Teams. You often get agitated callers because the company has a hard time meeting their SLA's due to a shortage of Radiologists, so be prepared to be a punching bag. High turnover rate & burnout because of the overnight hours and because of the difficulty to get time off.
