Quiet environment to work in

There was no real flexibility

Lots of opportunities for growth since the role is so broad.

Upper management is very controlling of lab schedule, giving middle management essentially no ability to manage the lab. The lab work is highly specialized so skills are not super transferrable. Upper management tends to promise things they can’t deliver.
