Before covid-19 employee's used to eat together and had some time for networking. + You can learn a lot from Scott, Dave and Steven. Learn as much as you can while you are there.

- PTO system changed to occurring over time. I like the upfront PTO per year. ( Some employee's misused the system so understandable) - Remote work is not an option. Even though you can do the job from home easily (again, during covid some employee's were even on the computer to do the work, so they went against it)

Novaworks provides an excellent environment for learning multiple development skills, including Windows desktop software development and web development. There are chances to pick up multiple different programming languages (including C++, javascript, PHP, and .NET) and technical skills, and the management is helpful and instructive. I came to the company knowing limited coding and have learned a great deal to help my career. It's a perfect environment for novice software developers to get their feet wet and for more seasoned developers to gain new skills or hone the skills they have. Also, the environment is friendly and open, and management is flexible and accommodating.

The company is pretty small, both in terms of personnel and office space. It doesn't give off a very professional feel, and there's not much of a management structure. Because of the small size, you can sometimes get tasked with doing something you may not be familiar with, which can be intimidating and difficult. There can also be a rush to meet deadlines.
