Pros
Easy to get a job and gain experience. They especially like to hire new grads.
Cons
Management, understaffing, pt to nurse ratios, never enough aides. Especially in ED. Cliques. Disparity of pay between male and female RN pay. They lost their magnet status when Jack Barto took over, and it shows. They had a million dollar surplus and instead of giving the staff real cost of living wage increase the organization began numerous building projects. They hire massive amounts of new grads because of turnover rather than pay a fair wage to keep and attract seasoned nurses.
