      Pros

      Excellent benefits. Corporate promotes work life balance but it varies how much that actually happens from department to department and manager to manager. Wonderful co-workers.

      Departmental/unit on-boarding/training very poor Despite a corporate line of "physician/administrator partnership", does not actually play out in actuality My personal experience with my manager was she bended the rules when she wanted to, calling herself "flexible" with the staff but when it suited her, decided to follow corporate rules to a T. Not consistent in her management style. Upper level management often out of touch with accuality of what is occurring on a patient/unit/dept level.

      Pros

      Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

      Cons

      sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
