Toxic environment with clueless management and high turnover - Anonymous Employee Nova Compression Employee Review

I’ve been here for awhile and seen the downswing. Company is definitely on the upswing. Brought in new management in December last year that’s already had a huge impact on operations. Plan for the future is bright, and most of the cancer left the company in Pecos.

Not enough training for new techs. Pecos struggles because most of us don’t have the training we need to do our jobs. Makes the days hard when you’re just trying to scrape by. Management is trying to hire people on, not sure how that’s going.

Per diem is a positive attribute.

The issue with Nova compression is the business plan. A select few actual make the calls within this company, and will not allow the people put in these rolls to make the calls do their job. This micromanagement culture makes the ability for management to build a team impossible.Instead the managers have to rely on select few FST until they burn out. The people making these calls run this contract compression company like an ams company. I believe if you decide to work for Nova Compresison and you bring any kind of value it will not be respected until the very moment they need you, and after you will be forgotten.
