Lack of flexibility with scheduling due to tight staffing situations and occasional anxiety-producing traffic forcing me to work mostly weekends.

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice
-gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student
-supportive management on the floor i was hired on

-low pay for what you put up with
-was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern
-nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help
-don’t feel like i got enough training
-the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
