Family atmosphere! Great people to work with!! Even that feeling of working with family! Continuously educating drivers on the ever changing logistics industry. New equipment!! Always willing to listen to a new idea or suggestion to improve the operations. Love the feeling of being part of something Great that can only get better! Employee longevity-very rare in the transportation industry! The whole Operations team is amazing! Dispatchers treat the drivers as they are treated- what you give, is what you get! Operations manager rules with a business mindset that shares the values of being fair to his drivers. We are ALL here to make money!! Steve the Owner- hands down the hardest working individual at the company!! I have went home at 6 pm and he is mowing the lawn! I have came in to my run at 2:30 am in a snow storm, Steve was plowing the drive! Steve is willing to do what ever it takes to make this the best company to work at!! Drivers that come in willing to work and work hard WILL be rewarded!! This is the company where the nice guy wins!! Attitudes need not apply!
Cons
Communication- though several avenues are being explored at this time to streamline. This is a sour patch for the whole industry regardless of company. I do feel northern is better than most!! Not much else!
