Sales job for NorthStar - Autonomy License Consultant NorthStar Advanced Exercise Science Employee Review

Pros

As an ALC you work remote, set your own rhythm, and focus on helping gyms adopt a premium training system. The playbooks and templates make outreach straightforward once you learn them. Income scales with closed licenses without getting pulled into day to day client management.

Cons

Leads are not handed to you, so you spend real time prospecting and following up. Gym decision cycles can be slow, which means wins come in bursts and patience matters.

Pros

One of the hardest parts of the business development specialist job is the interview process. They use field interviews, so you have to really know sales, you have to really understand autonomy v2, and then you have to go out there and show that you can sell it, which is relatively easy because most gyms want something like this that they can grow with and scale with, get rid of their staff if they want to. The program's very, very well done, so it's easy to sell. It's just a matter of getting your leads together and going out and making the introductions. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty easy concept.

Cons

One of the things that takes some getting used to is not having meetings very often. We have them maybe once every couple of weeks. I'm used to having them two or three times a week. So you have to do a lot of reading and a lot of kind of finding out your own solutions through your manager, and it's not that bad. It usually takes less than a day for her to get back to me.
