Very relaxed atmosphere, at-cost vending services, diverse co-workers
Cons
This place has no sense of direction. They come up with very promising ideas and execute them poorly. New products are consistently rolled out without notifying the merchants or properly training the staff for that matter. Those at the "front lines" in customer service & tech support are constantly fed to the wolves. The IT department does little to notify Tech Support about any upcoming changes to the mobile application for example. The IT department often expresses a "Deal with it. We'll get to it when we can" type of attitude. There are few knowledgable individuals in the customer service/ tech support departments who understand the industry. Sadly, they are not members of management. Instead, the management is composed of lazy individuals who are promoted from other departments with little to no experience troubleshooting the current product nor do they intend to learn it. There is a ton of micro-management from these unqualified individuals adding to an already stressful environment, creating a high turnover rate as a consequence. Poorly trained new hires are rushed to the floor met with an onslaught of questions and complaints from dissatisfied merchants. Merchants are consistently lied to or misinformed giving them no choice but to leave for the competition.
