      Flexible scheduling. Fine for college students.

      Cons

      Underpaid. No promotions, but they will assign responsibilities and other higher positions that aren't yours. Makes you feel used.

      Pros

      Serving the public, books, for the most part creative & caring staff, decent compensation & benefits

      Cons

      Terrible red tape, it takes forever to get things done. You can get very lucky with management and most of the staff are truly wonderful, fun, hardworking people, but it's a roll of the dice. There are some truly inept and/or downright cruel people.
