Slow to adapt to new and more efficient ways of doing things. For many employees, this is their first and only job, and many have been there 20+ years, which I think contributes to that way of thinking. Bringing in new blood, new processes and innovative ideas could breathe life into a somewhat stagnant environment. I found this resistance to change rather frustrating and didn't stay long. The world keeps changing and if you don't adapt as a company, you will fall behind and become irrelevant.
