Pros
There are talented people at the company, and several experienced reps were generous with their time and willing to help others succeed. If you're looking to learn the industry, that was one of the strongest aspects of my experience.
Cons
I found the day-to-day experience challenging. Expectations and policies often changed with little notice, making it difficult to plan and operate consistently. PTO flexibility was also far more limited than I expected.
I also struggled to sell with confidence at times because there often seemed to be a gap between customer expectations during the sales process and what was ultimately delivered during onboarding and implementation.
The biggest challenge for me was leadership and communication. I frequently left conversations with one understanding, only to see a different expectation communicated later. As a result, it was difficult to know what standards would remain consistent over time.
Niural presents itself as a fast-growing startup with significant upside. My experience was that it came with many of the pressures of a startup, without enough of the transparency, flexibility, or support that typically make those tradeoffs worthwhile.
My advice: ask detailed questions about quota attainment, onboarding retention, PTO policies, and how often company expectations change before accepting an offer.
