Pros

+ Company never stops innovating: Just in 2 years the company has changed the identity from a consumer remittance provider to Institutional Remittance platform to send/spend/receive platform to Remittance as a Service provider to Migrant Banking and to a lot more! + Very strong tech team - Engineers and Product Managers are outcome focussed and are an ideal team for Founder's high sense of urgency on vision driven ultra-large bets. They effectively balance building scalable products for long term while iteratively delivering short term business outcomes, several pivots that the tech platforms have witnessed in last 2 years is a validation of the exemplary work from tech/product teams. + Recent addition of several senior business leaders has taken the company from strength to strength, not only this multiplies the business development efforts for Nium but also bring in a balancing, wisdom enriched perspective (a much needed input as a startup scales) + Diverse stakeholders across the globe- Nium is true global and multicultural company. One may easily find themselves working with stakeholders across 4 to 5 continents on a daily basis. Some may see this as a downside (as described in Cons)

Cons

- One may easily find themselves working with stakeholders across 4 to 5 continents on a daily basis. This could mean first call before breakfast with a stakeholder in Australia/Japan and last call with a teammate in the US at dinner time. Nium culture doesn't expect people to work 9/9/7 but in certain roles one may have to proactively manage balance between work and life. I believe a very small price to work with and learn form the best in the fintech world!

Pros

A lot of freedom and the friendliest coworkers I have ever met.

Cons

Needing adjustments from a staff and product perspective. New C-Suites seem to be turning the ship in the right direction

Pros

Office is nice Can't think of anything else...

Cons

- Work produced by outsourced teams is rarely critiqued or challenged, while internal contributions are scrutinized with a focus on shortcomings rather than outcomes. - No camaraderie, no professionalism, no empathy, no mutual respect. If you can't be sucked up to, your fellow employees will treat you like trash. - Leadership often appears reactive rather than strategic, with limited clarity on direction or long-term planning. Communication tends to rely on hollow buzzwords. - Ego runs rampant; if someone thinks their hot stuff they'll make it known at every single meeting. - There appears to be limited investment in coaching or professional development. Repeated mistakes occur across all levels, especially with so called senior employees. This raises questions about role expectations and the consistency of standards.
