Pros
- Some great SDR managers - Higher OTE for an SDR position - SDR’s are friendly and helpful - Great product
Cons
- Commission structure. Can hit 90% if your number and get 60%ish of OTE. - Some managers don’t do anything - Little room for vertical growth - Split SDR org into multiple areas. Inbound (pointless easy position and always hit target), Revival (makes sense to have and hit target), Outbound (by far hardest, best SDR’s, hardly anyone hits their number. 2-3 a month when off ramp. - Senior SDR management is out of touch. They are just hype men in Slack channels. - Some AE’s are so spoiled from not needing to cold call or prospect that they complain about any lead that isn’t perfect. Especially SMB ones
