Pros
I’ve only been at Nimbl for a short time, but I have been so impressed with the culture, work ethic, and general feel of the company. Nimbl truly cares about employees and has created an intentional culture, focusing on individual growth. My manager and I have had countless discussions on where I want to be professionally, and how Nimbl can help make that happen. I’ve been involved in many projects and experiences specifically because my team knows I want to gain certain skill sets. The trust they have given me in my role has been outstanding. Before I was hired, my manager and I had long conversations about what I needed in a job, and my position was tailored to fit those needs. As a working mom, that interest in my work-life balance has been so meaningful, and I am pleased to say that my manager has advocated for me to maintain that balance ever since. Nimbl is a start-up; it’s fast-paced and changing quickly, so there are many opportunities to develop one’s role and help the company grow.
Cons
Generally speaking, a “start-up” culture isn’t for everyone. And that’s okay! Nimbl is passionate about developing a great company, and being part of the start-up’s growth has been very exciting.
