Pros

Nice has a pretty close to ideal working space. There are plenty of cubby holes to disappear into for some peace and solitude when you need to focus. Along with a decent number of meeting rooms. It is clear effort has been put into keeping the office colourful and welcoming, for the most part they have not succumbed to the creep of crushing as many people in as possible. Obligatory creative agency sports of ping pong and pool are provided, but wisely kept away from desks so you won't get balls flying in your face when you work. The on-site cooked meals are cheaper than any of the food you can get nearby, varied, cater to vegetarians and are of a good quality. Oh and it has regular tea and cakes/donuts sessions. And cooked breakfasts on Fridays. And a sweet shop. If that's not your jam there are a dozen Prets round the corner, plus some brilliant street food. HR are visible, friendly and proactive. Much better than most. A whole host of extra curricular activities are organised by the culture team across Nice and its sister companies in the same office. Importantly, and surprisingly for an agency, a large number of them don't focus on getting drunk. There's live music, massages, christmas arts and crafts, baking competitions, all sorts of weird stuff. If you are 21 then you'll love it. If you are older and worried about it being a bit "uni" then don't fear, it mostly doesn't intrude. For contractors I can 100% recommend it. For permanent employees, it comes across as one of the best I've seen.

Cons

It is an open office, and while it is relatively segmented it can get rather noisy and distracting at times. But as mentioned there are places to hide. Some parts don't really get any natural lighting, but it is certainly no basement and far better than most. Their parent company was recently bought by Accenture, so be wary of the what the long term future may hold.

Pros

The socials and atmosphere in the Farringdon office were really fun. We had a lot of events, bands performing live, yoga in the office, chefs cooking food. The office space was energising, the HR department looked after everyone really well.

Cons

-Some of the clients were very difficult but the account managers at Nice always made it easier -Working offsite was required on some projects, in which case it was easy to lose touch with co-workers at Nice
