Pros
Smart, helpful people everywhere. Systems and tools were setup and run correctly from day 1. New office environment is fresh and lively. I've been allowed, and encouraged, to spend a lot of time getting familiar with the product I support before I need to "perform". Challenging position that stretches the standard definition of the role I was hired for. Unique. Positive "can do" attitude prevails.
Cons
LOTS to learn immediately to become familiar with a robust and complicated product/environment. Being managed virtually (from Israel) has it's drawbacks. Training model is/are virtual labs, which are time and resource intensive. The open floor plan of the office provides little quiet or privacy as there are people always having discussions via phone or WebEx at full volume. I've will have lost 2 mentors in 60 days due to turnover, creates a challenge for New Hires. Siloed SMEs are hard to get time with sometimes unless you have some weight to throw around.
