Pros
There is not enough space for me to elaborate on all the great things NextPoint Group offers! I joined 10 years after I was first approached, and quickly realized this company is for real. In all my years working for the big lettered (think EDS, BAE, CACI, L3, etc) I never thought a smaller company could deliver on all the promises. NextPoint Group can and does.
The leadership is comprised of honest and ethical leaders who know how important the employees on site are to success. The level of employee engagement and recognition far exceeds my experience with any of my previous employers. From quarterly family themed outings to support for veteran focused charities to epic holiday parties, NextPoint Group shines! But, more than the parties and outings and the swag, the leadership team cares about its employees. I often times tell colleagues, if I were to start my own company, it would look exactly like this! I feel more a part of a family than I do a company. I feel they care about me as a person, not an employee number or 'FTE in billet 12345.' Personally, that speaks volumes for leadership. We share the same philosophy and vision: People First, Mission Focused.
The salary is very competitive, the benefits are second to none, recognition of your accomplishments are frequent and shared with the entire company, and our back-office support staff is stellar! Even though we have over 200 employees now, the entire leadership staff is accessible and responsive. If I have a question, I get an answer, typically within hours. Unlike so many other companies, the approval and reimbursement process for training is seamless and effortless.
My biggest regret is NOT joining when I first met the team. My wife re-assures me by saying, you're with them now!
Cons
After nearly 2 years with NextPoint Group, I have yet to find one thing that I would consider a 'con.' Honestly, they're doing it right.
